I have played this DLC for all of about 15 minutes, and I just want to know, before I start I want to know, is that armour the ghosts wear obtainable, because it looks AWESOME.

We really disliked that we couldn't get the winterized combat armor in O:A without using the glitch.
Then Bethesda gives us one in Mothership Zeta.

So, if we whine enough they might put it in a DLC further down the line, like Bethesda did. :)

The winterized Power Armor.. that you obtain after leaving the simulation? lol?

Or was that added in really late to be acquired after O:A, cuz I never played Fallout 3 until I got the GOTY edition this past March.

Nonononononono...
Winterized combat armor.
Not winterized power armor.
The combat armor is only available in Mothership Zeta.
You can't get it in O:A unless you use the Gary glitch.

Why bother with this hard to do glitch if we can obtain it with console commands anyway?

Let me ask you this, did the fact that New Vegas is sold on the PS3 and XBOX slip past you?
If so: I'm playing on the xbox, don't go around thinking we all have the luxury of console commands and mods and crap.
Us console users had to use the glitch.

Are you thinking of the Medic Winterised Combat Armour or the massively [censored] glitched General Chase's Uniform which I was looking forward to so much and never got to [censored] use!!!! :swear:

Hmm I think we can get a normal winterized combat armor when we find Elliot's squad mates.

You're right, it's only the medic armor.

"It is nearly identical to winterized combat armor, except that the armor is less beat up and dented, has different textured shoulder and shin plates, the medic symbol which appears on the armor's back and the missing balaclava and gloves. It has the same DR as well, but is less durable and gives a +10 bonus to medicine."

Still, it's almost identical. :P

Was always more of a Colonel Autumn's Uniform, Eyeglasses and Officer Hat kinda guy myself. But whatever works, I considered the Army Mechanic Uniform more valuable than the Winterised Combat Armour in the Simulation anyway.

I was dissapointed we couldnt get it, it looked awesome, allthough there were seveal varients. I think it would be a nice item, it could have given night vision, protected from radiation and acted as a disguise.
