More Weird And Wonderful Sea Creatures

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 9:13 am

http://news.aol.com/article/see-through-fish/355501It has to look for prey and predator in the deep ocean, but the very idea of having an transparent head with brains clearly visible just sounds so alien to me, and useful, imagine how easy it would have been a doctor if we all had transparent heads, and we could literally mean it when we say things like, 'it feels like you can see right through me'.c'mon post your freakies here.

Sea creatures are certainly the most alien-looking on our planet. Because the water blocks most of the harmful solar rays and they don't have gravity as a major influence they can evolve in all sorts of weird and wonderful ways.

the spectrum:___________________________________|_________|_____________________gamma rays x rays ultraviolet rays human eye infrared radio-wavesEarth's deep-sea transparent-creatures are amazing. On other planets, distances and stellar scintillation can easily knock our field-of-vision into a cocked-hat. Biologically, it's not hard to envision alien-evolutions that produce creatures with light-bending abilities too.
