Couple questions, loading up the Vault Lighting Pallete and

This is from the tutorial

Lighting Vault 74's Galley
We’ll be lighting the galley, the large, two-floor room in the center of the level. I’ve created an object palette for this tutorial, so download and load up this Vault Lighting Palette.

I downloaded it, but where do I save the file to? I tried unzipping it and double clicking but no luck.

Also, Im making my first Vault and I cant get the VVault11GearDoorControlPanel * to work, I cant open the Vault door with it (I have to press E while facing the Vault door itself). How do I get that to work? Or will that be covered in the tutorial as well? Oh yeah, sorry I know Im piling on the noob questions but I tried putting in TempLight01 in my hallway (I dragged it in the middle of the hallway and pressed F to make it stick to the ground) and its in there but I cant see the light when I hold S and try to scale it with my mouse, is there a button I have to press? (Im not talking about the Bright Light Hotkey "A" Im just trying to get TempLight01 to go on)

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Click World -> Object Palette Editing to bring up the object palette, load the file, then you can select items in it and ctrl+alt+LMB to place objects in your scene. This is far superior to dragging and dropping, because the object palette creates them next to what you click on in the scene, instead of right in front of the camera.

Hit L to turn on light radii

Hit F5 to refresh the lighting in the viewport

Search the geck wiki for more information. There's a nicely sized article on the Object Palette. (The light refresh thing is a FNV Geck issue though)

Thanks man, I just wish I could figure out how to get my Vault door open. Im still doing the tutorial and Im about to start on the galley and the rest of the vault but first what I did was swap the rusty vault peices to the shiny metal ones. Only problem is now I cant get my Vault door to open.
