Will the general bugginess have been ironed out by Valve?

I bought Vampire: The Masquerade through Steam a year or so ago and it didn't even run, so I don't think bugs are checked or fixed or anything before they are put on there.

I agree this is good news. DCotE is riddled with bugs, so hopefully we will get some bug fixes. Unfortunately, there are a few drawbacks that I can see.Who has the source files for Dark Corners? And there's the additional cost of paying a studio to do the edits, which could get tricky as DCotE runs on an amalgamation of several bespoke engines (at least that is my understanding, anyway). So that could be also be time consuming as well as expensive. In addition, it's really doubtful we'd get a patch for existing disc based games. In all likelihood it would be a single Steam based download with the fixes included. Ultimately, that means you would need to buy the game all over again. Worth it, at least for me, but it still might put people off.Just my two cents.

Thats pretty random that they would have COC:DCOTE with Morrowmind and oblivion but at least its still on the map. I wonder if we will see an patches, add ons, and or expansions? Lets wait and see what happens.

I'm not certain. sonofamortican would be a better one to ask, he'd likely know. I still want At The Mountains Of Madness :(

The actual sequel 'Beneath the mountains of madness' was still in pre-dev stage when the company went bankrupt, and the PS2 game 'Destinys end ' was probably about 70 percent done.

Hopefully this will give people that haven't heard of it a chance to experience. It svcks that they stopped production on "destinys end" at 70%. Putting work into something like that only to have it scrapped must svck.
