There were something like three planned sequels for DCOTE but they all got cancelled when the developer went under. I remember a small trailer of one of the sequels and that being the end of it. Buuuuut now that it's out on steam (and currently on the top sellers list) maybe Bethesda will decide that its worth while to pick up one of these sequels? Thoughts? Anyone heard anything about it already?

I too had thought of this seeing as how one of the two was about 70% done (according to anoter forum member) so I think it will depend on the DCOTE's sucess on steam

I want sequels, but no one will make them, Head First is dead and gone away, wonder that this forum still exists, also Destiny?s End must be sequel. :cthulhu:

if a sequel comes, it won't be from the original creators necessarily, since that company has gone bankrupt and its employees dispersed across the games industry, but another company is always welcome to buy the IP, and make their own game, not necessarily a sequel, although I am sure none of the developers would mind if it was, or even just a nod at our groundwork, since the mythos by nature is a collaboration between many creative people, I can tell there is a ready market of people eager for more 'mythos inspired' gameplay and that 'demand' will surely be met sometime or another.
