I used a suitcase near the entrance

PS: Dont store your caravan cards. Due to a bug they disappear when you store them somewhere (I know they dont weigh anything, but I still stored them and lost them :c )

the trashcan beside the gate. Dead money gave the Long haul perk aloooot of use. I took everything that wasn't nailed down in that DLC.

I'm not telling you where my treasure is. :ninja: I even put mines around it just in case an NPC gets any ideas. Unfortunately the mines keep disappearing every once in a while and I have to set new ones which doesn't help the paranoia - the first time it happened I thought I'd blown someone up trying to loot my stash! They need to fix that, you should be able to have a certain amount of mines set indefinitely.

I would put all my treasure in my Wolfhorn Ranch thanks to the perk that lets me fast travel when I'm overwhelmed with gold bars and stuff.

That was a neat trick someone pointed out in Fallout 3 and i used alot. Go to an area, watch the mobs path. Clear area drop a few mines in the path and walk away. A few in game days later when the area respawns, bang boom to da moon, free kills while doing something else. I can not remember the poster's name or find the thread in the Fallout 3 forums but yea that is awesome sauce with a tabasco chaser. Downtown across from the museum, the one train yard with the imprisioned super mutant bemoth in the cage, can not remember the name but the one city overrun with deathclaws where Dave goes if he looses the election, lots of fun. Bit sad it does not work reliably in FONV but hey i got HC mode so i can not complain, still it would have been neat.

I dumped mine in the Garden Gnome cabinet I have at the Lucky 38. I think Cass would try to steal it and pawn it for booze if I had the bar out.

In my inventory :D. I had no need to drop anything because I'm a big fan of Strong Back, Pack Rat, and all that other stuff that makes equipment lighter. (plus strength of 8)
Spoiler
Only took one Gold Bar though... Meh. I can "Let Go"
