Is It A Glitch Or Is It ME?

Not sure if its a glitch or if I'm just doing something wrong,,,

My character is not healing up while resting. Now she's addicted to Stim packs because it seems to be the only way I can get her health back up. The last time I rested I did a full eight hours and it did not improve her health at all.

I also can't seem to hit anything unless I use VATS. Went through two clips trying to shoot a cockroach at near point blank range had did not hit it once. Switched to VATS and killed it with one shot. Had the same thing happen with two Geckos that charged me and in Prim trying to kill a Powder Ganger.

your character dont just heal by resting "this isnt fallout or fallout 2 haha" you have to rest in a bed for your health to go up or eat some food or drink some water. and i dunno bout you not being able to hit stuff....

Are you playing in hardcoe mode? You don't heal when resting when playing in hardcoe Mode. As far as not hitting anything, your character just may not have good enough stats yet for accuracy; it all depends on your skills, stats, perks, etc.

As far as I know I'm not in hardcoe mode. At least i started out that way. My son likes to get on there and change settings on me, didn't think to check that. Thanks

I've maxed my gun ability as far as I can so far. I don't seem to have a problem hitting targets at a distance. It only seems to be when they come in close on me that VATS seems to be the only way I can nail them.
