Has anyone else played Unreal Tournament 99?

This is the type of fast paced run and gun type of game that I've been waiting for. Personally I'm going to be playing the UT99 soundtrack in the backround while I'm racking up frags. Anyone else?

hm... I don't own brink, but I'd like to point out that unreal torny 1999 is REALLY freakin' old man! I'd think one of the newer ones would be more fitting!

I don't really think BRINK is nearly as fast as UT.

Don't know how fast UT1999 was but I do know that the devs were a mod team for Quake 3 in the beginning. Quake is also pretty fast-paced.

UT99 is, and remains, the best unreal tournament.
fast-paced, small open maps, small complicated maps too sometimes.
and very fun, nothing like those others that have to use vehicles to get people to buy it>.>

tbh, i even like the graphs of UT99 more than those of the newer ones.

Oldest but the best UT. <3 You should listen to the original soundtracks from this game that UT2k3-4 UT3 spun off of and remixed, they're a lot better, and more fitting for fast paced gore galore

Yeah I will, also, didn't the half life guys get picked by valve because the did modding for quake and were so good at it, is it just me or does it seem like this happens a lot?

VALVe plays a LOT of attention to the modding community, instead of trying to ignore them, cough latest COD series cough.

Splash Damage is also known for great community support.
