Face Deformation

Ok, so this is a weird issue.

I just created a character, a female Nord. In the very first character creator she looked great, so I saved her and ran like crazy untill I was inside Helgen keep. Then, i decide to have a look at my character. My immediate reaction was, out loud "What the [censored]?!"

Basically, the face is now bloated and the geometry is completely different, every preset now suffers from this. Trying to change it back to the way it was is impossible, because every face part now somehow has a different shape. So what gives? I'm positive nobody slipped LSD into my drink, so the logical conclusion is that something messed up bad. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

EDIT: So in the most confusing turn of events in a while, this issue resolved itself somehow. I did switch to a different face texture replacer but I have no idea how a texture could affect face geometry like that. At any rate, the issue now seems fixed but I'll leave this here in case anyone else comes across it.

screenshot or it didn't happen. But seriously, post a screenshot and verify game cache and defrag it. Also, noticing your signature, remove your texture mods.

I think a missing/wrong normal can make a face look pretty bad. In Fallout, with a missing normal, the face would look really old.

Nexus has some face mods on it's page if you wanted to try that.
