I remember some people having this issue in Oblivion, but at the moment, I'm particularly peeved. I have a pair of Orcish arrows stuck in me that I cannot drop and that refuse to fade away no matter how long I wait. I don't have any recent saves before I noticed the problem, so re-loading isn't necessarily an option. Does anyone know how to get rid of the buggers?

If ur able to turn into a Werewolf do that and then by the time you change back into human form the arrows will be gone. Had the same problem

If you are on PC, the console command "sixchange" will remove them. Then sixchange again to get back to your normal character

If on console, you can try getting shot with more arrows. Some people have had success with this.

Or dump all your arrows from your inventory into a container. Yes, even in your body you own the arrow

One person said the form change of Become Ethereal is also enough.

Really? That's pretty neat. Pull the arrow out and shoot it back.

Get shot by more arrows and it goes away.
