Performance issues since 1.3

Scanned through the first few pages of topics and couldn't find anything related to this specifically.

Since downloading 1.3, I'm having substantial fps issues (primarily in dungeons, not outside) to the point that I seem to spend more time hitting Lydia than my intended target. I can't seem to identify any consistent reason for the fps drops besides being in a dungeon/cave. Prior to the patch, I would have fps trouble with watery dungeons, along with the occasional random hiccup (which I always attributed to some other system process kicking off), but post-1.3 it occurs much more often. I run at Low settings always (I play on laptops...I know, I know, don't start with me...haha).

In addition, I'm having alot of trouble getting any re-bound keys (especially the extra M3-M5 buttons on my gaming mouse) to work consistently. The main ability I'm having trouble with is my Shout (which, at this point, is only Fus Ro). It's caused a number of deaths and is quite annoying. At first it seemed to be only an issue if I tried to bind Shout to M3, M4, or M5, but I've bound it to C now and am still having intermittent issues.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't know what kind of system you have, but I also have a laptop which is definately not set up for gaming. I do experience lag, but my FPS in dungeons tends to be much higher (20 points or more) than outside (I can even get 60 (my max) through some areas!). Unless there is: A) alot of candles (candles blow my FPS down to 8!), B) any amount of 'blowing mist' (can get stutter-stop in some parts), or C) waterfalls (which may just be the mist problem).

Unless you have a real dinosaur laptop, you should be able to run at least medium settings. I set my graphics to high, drop the anisotropic (sp?) filtering down to 2, hit the advanced button and set textures to medium and decals to none. I have everything but specularity and light fade distances at max. My FPS ranges from the 8 mentioned about all the way to 60, with usually 20-30 outdoors (sometimes in the low 40s), and 15-25 in town (my FPS is actually lower at night, I think because of the light sources).

I have no idea about the re-bound keys, sorry, but maybe tweaking your graphics may help a little bit.
