I'm still getting that infuriating bug where the stuff in my house will fly to where I dropped it after re-entering the building. It's completely random, as some items will stay where I left them, and others wont, even if they were dropped at the same time.

I have heard there are workarounds for this problem, but so far none of them have been reliable for me. Is there ANY way of getting items to stick consistently? I'm tired of waiting for Bethesda to patch this, because I think they wont.

I had this issue too, my short term solution was to do a quicksave and reload after placing items, if nothing has moved then they should be fine, it's definitely an annoying bug that needs fixing though.

Maybe the house in haunted? Or housemate is careless?
But yes, I did notice that too, thought was weird but did not pay any real attention to it. Helmet left on a plank are always on thye floor when returning "home".
