Hi all,

I've already contacted Bethesda directly, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue/found a bypass.

The crash comes after completing the opening ceremony and happens while I am making my way to the casino.

After entering "Salida Del Sol South" from the "Salida Del Sol House" I make my way to the door to the Villa (or any door in that area after testing) and choosing to enter said area, the normal loading screen will start and when the second slide starts to enter the game crashes to desktop with the following details.


In another thread someone was having an issue and a suggested option was to run the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache", which I did. The verification found one file to be a problem (did not state which one) and redownloaded it, upon running it again it still found a file to be "wrong" and would redownload, etc.

If anyone has any suggestions or fixes it would be much appreciated.

try restarting Steam. That surprisingly fixes many random crashes. Not sure why but it often works for me.

I tried that a few times (and a reboot as well since that worked for fallout 3 oddly enough) but no dice.

Right now I am trying an update of my graphics drivers (as reccomended by the support team)
