Lost Shadowmere Horse : V

I hopped off of Shadowmere to fight a dragon, and after victory cannot find Shadowmere anywhere. Sometimes the horse would canter off, but I've run around and see no sight of it. I've checked nearby stables, and the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, but no luck.

Any suggestions for how to recover a lost horse?

I gave up and reloaded an older save point. please fix disappearing horses

Just fast travel somewhere, he will appear somewhere near.

I tried fast traveling to the Whiterun stables, Riften stables, Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, and also waited over 24 hours

Fool! I didn't even know Shadowmere was in this game! It's okay. I'm over it.

if he doesnt appear after fast travel, hes dead, sux2bu.

best way to find him is retake your steps, mainly had problems lossing him during stormclock quests

Shadowmere = 3 dragons together.

Sometimes I just let him kick some mammoth ass for fun.

He is really powerfull.

My Shadowmere died in a bandit ambush, I was hoping for him to be immortal like in Oblivion.

Seriosuly disappoint.

shadowmere can die? then how the heck did she survive 200 years and a thalmor war (with one of the most deadly professions: assasin horse) only to end up in skyrim, between another war?

Yes, Shadowmere can die. I hate this. I like my shadowy horse that has an ephing awesome entrance.
