I'm not sure if this is appropriate to start, my apologies if it isn't.

Does any one know if MERP&Blade is being ported/continued to/for Skyrim? Or if someone else is doing something similar?
I've always wanted the M&B type combat in TES series, not just he mounted but also the directional attacks/blocking and archery.

I've never heard of MERP&Blade though.

It was a combat mod for Oblivion. A member of the MERP team was working on it but I can't seem to find out whether or not he's going to be continuing it.

I am aware and excited for the mounted combat mod, but I was looking more for a mod based on the melee.

Ooh! Cool, I'd seen that type of combat in a mod spot vid, but didn't associate a name with it. Now I know.

Now to actually answer your question, I haven't seen anything about it being ported to Skyrim, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's not in the works.

In the mean time I guess I'll continue teaching my self how to animate (does a very very happy dance). I should come out with a stiff walking animation in the next few years.
