In Japanese? Hahaha

I don't know Japanese at all. Most Asian languages confuse the marbles out of me, but that's no matter. I usually have written off Japanese voice-overs as lousy dubs, and I know that a lot of English voice-overs from the original Japanese are equally terrible.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1adLrHvALg&feature, is really good. I almost want to get the Japanese version just to listen to some of these actors talking. They did a fantastic job with the over-dubs here. I don't know why, but Japanese accents just do really well when it comes playing that wise, elderly mentor, or the deep and introspective commander of the legion.

It's strange, because the words literally mean nothing to me. However, just listening to the tone and the feelings in the voices themselves, I still get a pretty clear picture of what's going on.

Because I connect the tone of their voices with anything that's going on, it sounds almost comical to me. :P

Japanese are humans, including non-speaking Japanese. We're very attuned to emotions and the mood of conversations.

Japanese are humans

Lies.

And oh god, japanese-speaking cat-people. I'm going to have nightmares.

voice acting is a SERIOUS BUSINESS here (im japanese), we have tons of schools dedicate to train voice actors, thousand of new actors graduate and look for job each year. one of the reason anime becomes so popular ;)

Ulfric doesn't sound nearly as badass in Japanese as he does in English.

Where's the emotion?
