How to "favourite" an item?

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 6:53 am

I cannot mark items as favourited! When I press F key as shown on help bar, it drops the item instead!~

You're on PC, correct? Go to your options and see what the "Favorite/Unfavorite" button is set to.

I'm on PC and there's no such button in options.

Oh, that's unfortunate. Does it show a "Favorite" option in the item menu?

Connect a 360/PS3 controller and use (Y) / (/\) to favorite something. ...or was it (X) / ([]) ? Try both of those.

Did you change your keyboard layout? If so, change them back to the defaults and see if you can now use the "F" key to favorite items.

It shows R for "equip" and F for "Favourite".
R does nothing.
F drops an item out of inventory.

Connect a 360/PS3 controller...
Are you an idiot?

@Wanderdrowin

1. You should check to see if you keys are properly set for your game - keyboard. I recommend resetting to default
2. No the guy is not an idiot for asking you to connect a xbox controller considering he is only trying to help. Learn some manners and be less of a giant derp-bag

Unfortunately, until the patch comes out I would suggest setting your controls to default.

I customized my keys the first day and found that I couldn't use the drop function any longer (especially needed in dungeons). I tried ALL possible keys and nothing would drop an item, not to mention that the UI did not update the correct key bind with certain commands.
