Skyrim 1.3.10 Restricts manual resolutions via Prefs

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 10:52 pm

Edit: This is with windowed mode

Was able to test this with consistent results trying to use the SBW mod and my 900x1600 resolution screen.

Edit: Setting windowed modes' resolution to 900height causes it to crash at main menu yet setting it to 899 height is fine. 1600 width works fine.

Yay, back to windowed/fullscreen playing.

I said it like that because of the order they appear in the Prefs doc, Height is first so i just ordered it that way is all.

Bizzare, The real issue is setting the resolution at 900 Height, seems 1600 works fine.

Hmm, many programming languages include the 0 (zero) as a position, so 0 up to and including 899 gives 900 positions, or pixels in this case. Probably a small programmers oversight in the *.ini reading and interpretation part of the software.
