I'm playing PC, latest update of the game. That bug where the menu will close when you are trying to click on the option. Inventory or dialogue? I have that. It's extremely annoying.

I know it's well-known. But what is actually happening? Anyone know? What is the bug doing? I was thinking there was something I could do about it, since the fix doesn't seem to be immediately forthcoming.

I've done it before. But it seems kind of unlikely. But what is causing the glitch?

Seems to me a design decision is what's causing it. Clicking to the furthest left on a menu gets you back into the game. If you click to the right of an item you're fine. And yes, it's annoying.
