Whats the bow with the best base stats? And what lvls/where do you find them at? I have the nightingale bow but it is only 44 base dam right now and i saw a glass one earlier that i dropped that had 50 base.

That's not the base damage, that's damage after perks and skill level that you see.


Anyway according to the UESP.

Base damage

Daerdric bow: 19
Ebony bow: 17
Glass bow: 15
Highest Nightingale bow: 19

Thus it's a tie between Daerdric and the highest nightingale bow. Daerdric has the possibility to have 2 enchants of your choice (with the 100 enchanting perk) and I'm not sure if there's a smithing perk that affects the Nightingale bow.
