"In all my years I've never seen such a thing"

Children probably shouldn't be saying this particular line after you've successfully defended a village from a dragon, unless it was the developer's intent to make me laugh out loud at the absurdity.

my warrior char killed a dragon in the middle of riverwood yesterday. as soon as he started to absorb the dragon soul, all the villagers came to watch the scenery and the first guard that arrived said: "So you can cast a few spells, am I supposed to be impressed?

lol. those comments are so misplaced sometimes. its almost comedy.

The worst for me was when the town decided to flock to Alvor's body in Riverwood days after the initial dragon attack that killed him (they didn't notice before and his child was working the forge like she didn't care!). After the commotion I resurrected him via commands, then afterwards (and only after I resurrected him!) a guard came up to me and asked "If I knew anything about this?" Are you real? He's alive and he asks me if I knew anything about his murder? He did not even want to ask me when he was actually dead. Surely also he must have seen the dragon kill him, he's a freaking guard!

Stupid Ai is stupid.

You don't have kids I guess, I work with school kids and have heard 8 and 9 year olds say lines like this, or "Years ago, when I was just a little kid ...", on a regular basis. And yes I often have to hold back a laugh when I hear them say this.

What really cracks me up is imagining the child voice actor being directed in the recording studio to say this line. I'm trying to imagine whether the person directing them was doing so with a straight face or a wry smile.

I think Bethesda just gave everyone the same exact script(every line, every dialogue, etc...) and told them, "Start from the top and read it all. Children, that includes you as well."

My little cousins, 5 years old always say things like, "Good Times", or " Grow up", "back in the day". LOL
