Skyrim 33% off on Steam

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 6:40 am

I just purchased Skyrim 4 days ago and now Steam has reduced the price for a limited time by 33%. While it is a good deal I'm pissed I missed out. I had been been holding out to see if it would go on sale and figured since the game was so popular they were not going to drop the price for a while so I purchased it. Of course then the price drops!

Do you think Steam would offer a refund for the difference if I email them or am I SOL?

At least I got Arkham City at 50% off a couple of days ago so the kick in the face is not as bad as it could have been.

Are they going to go back and refund everyone who payed full price from the day the game came out onward? I doubt it. Nobody owes you a thing. You have the game, just enjoy it.

Consider this -- you got to play the game up until now. Was that worth the extra money? Maybe not for you, but it was for me!

With all the hours played I've put into it (100 and ongoing), not counting the time tweaking and modding, I've currently at about $0.6 per hour of enjoyment. I know of plenty of games that hard a far worse ratio for me...

Wow. I had to buy Starcraft 2 at full price and that game's been out for a year and a half.

Steam is a scam, they took my money, never delivered the game and canceled my account with nearly $300 worth of games on it after i disputed the payment after waiting a week for a D/L
7 out of 10 games i bought from steam never worked anyway, so the loss was not that big a deal, i will ALWAYS buy retail disk and never buy from these scam dlc places again. just my 2 cents worth
