Ok, I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to steam

I got Skyrim for christmas and of course started installing it right away. I think that went off without a hitch as I can start playing and everything just fine

I have low FPS but that may be cos i have the minimum system requirements (again bit of a newb)

basically, when i installed Skyrim would steam have automatically installed all the exisiting patches? If not how the hell do i find them

Steam have installed them, provided you were connected to the internet, of course. :smile:

Your game should now be version 1.3.10.0; you can see this in the game by opening the escape menu. It's mentioned in the left low corner of the window.

What kind of graphic card do you have? ATI, nVidia? else?
