I'm on the main Thieves Guild quest (Speaking With Silence). I just met Mercer at the Snow Veil Catacombs so that we can go kill Karliah (sp?). However, a key is required to enter the catacombs. I assume Mercer is supposed to give it to you, but he didn't so I appear to be stuck.

What now??? Please help!

Stuck on this quest to, the npc Mercer, wont follow me down to the door, and when i finally get him down there with pushing and shouting he is just standing around and won't open the door, so the quest can continue.

I'm having this issue too. Some people said they solved it by saving/reloading, but that hasn't worked for me.
