Lag issues on a pc

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 7:59 am

I purchased the elder scrools for the pc but seems to be lagging significantly. I have enough space on all my memory and graphics to exceed the minimum for the game. I am running it on an Acer 7736z-4088 w/ a intel 4 series express chipset family display adapter. Not sure what I need to do at this point?

While the game is launchable on this video solution, it is a very weak video chipset. Really not meant for games. Stuttering should be expected with it.

I agree. Launchable is very different to playable.

I doubley concur this. You need an AMD or Nvidia dedicated graphics card to run this game properly, and a good card to run it well.

You're probably new to PC gaming. Grab a spoon, there's plenty to learn.

Unfortunally that laptop (google search by the stated name) only barely meets the min req on most areas and fails especially bad on the graphics card.
Skyrim will not really function on it and since it's a laptop it's not going to be upgradeable.
If I'm wrong and it's actually a PC, then a new gfx card might get you by for a while. However a lot of the other parts of the computer could bottleneck your performance.
So it's time for a new one as has been suggested already.

If you can, state your budget and I'm sure you'll get alot of suggestions.
