Not sure whether this is intentional or a bug.

Just now, on my way from around Frostmere Crypt to Morthal, I saw a group of people had been fighting some trolls.
So I ran to see if they need any help. They turned out to be a group of miners (Rustleif was one of them) and townguards from Dawnstar.
This is the first time I see town folks stay out of their town this far.

The strange thing was when I took off from Dawnstar (by walking), those miners and townguards were still in the town.
It seem like they just teleported to Morthal area ahead of me.

Do you this is a scripted event or a bug?

Once I found a Legate just standing in the middle of nowhere. Legates are commanders, so he should have had a squad with him, but he was completely alone, far from anything resembling civilization.

I've also had this happen from time to time in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Bethesda's Fallout games. No idea what causes this odd NPC placement.

I once found a few stormcloaks out in the middle of nowhere. They were friendly and acted as if they were in a camp.
"Why did you join the stormcloaks? I didn't want to bow down to those elfs." (or something like that)
In just a few short minutes, they had their fair share of bad luck. A dragon, bear, and sabre cat all attacked at the same time. My horse then went mad and attacked everyone, including me.

I see Faendal and Sven just wandering Haarfingar and the Reach sometimes...

Odd stuff.

Ran into companions wandering around fighting stuff , the random imperial stormcloak just standing in the middle of nowhere etc.I think it may be a bug of something that's intended?Like randomizing encounters in the world for you to run across and something broke them before you got there maybe? The best was a random horse just standing there , it said STEAL if I wanted to ide it , nobody in sight.About 10 minutes later a thief comes by and gives me a mace and runs like hell followed by a guy looking for him with some dialogue.I've seen this encounter 3 times but that's the only time with the horse thing going on.

There's alot of these encounters , I will add one toi this.A random troll fighting a random frost/flame atronach.First time seen the atronach roasted my horse =P

villagers wanna be adventurers too! lol, i've never met any straying villagers yet though
