Hello there guys,

I was having a lot of fun, everything was fine with Skyrim, and one day, when I launched Skyrim, though I've never chosen to, it was running in a window! Since then, couldn't be able to fix this as it was before. Tried many things written on web, even did a clean re-install, backed-up my save game files but if it wasn't enough already, the game does not recognize them anymore... Any of u ever heard/dealed with such full screen issue? I hope I'm not polluting the sobforum with this but this is quite annoying...

I play the game via Steam,
My OS is Windows 7 and up-to-date,
My graphics card's recent NVIDIA drivers and latest version of DirectX are installed.

Add, if not present, the below to your SkyrimPrefs.ini

[Display]bFull Screen=1

Thanks for the help but unfortunately I've already tried that.

Open the Launcher> in the Options menu ,in the lower left corner....is there a check mark in.."Windowed Mode"..?
