Beauty is relative. For example, many like Camilla in Riverwood. I find her hideous. Mostly the lips. Too pursed, looked like she purposefully treated them to make herself look "proper", and I think she's ugly as sin.

Well, like I said, as many on the list as possible, and looks aren't one of the more important factors :P

Sylgja is a good one. She fits all your criteria plus is a general goods vendor as well. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Sylgja Her house is not very fancy, but all the items will become your's when you marry her.

You could look for yourself.

Note however that a couple of these seem to be bugged one way or another. Hopefully the upcoming patch fixes them.

Name of your suggestion: Lydia
Location of your suggestion: Dragonsreach palace in Whiterun after killing the first dragon; granted as your Housecarl by the Jarl. She'll be standing by the door as you exit.

Important criteria:
(Put an X in the box if your suggestion meets the criteria)

*Race;
- Nord, Imperial or Breton [X]
Looks;
- Is she pretty and/or beautiful? [X]
Voice;
- Does she have a good voice? [X]

Dude, she's voice-acted by Susan Eisenberg; aka Wonder Woman from Justice League/Justice League Unlimited/Several DC Movies! In other words, she has "bedroom voice".

*Ownership;
- Is she a home owner? [-]
Career;
- Does she have some sort of income? [X]
(Blacksmith, general trader etc.)
If you don't take your spouse adventuring with you, *all* of them have an income. They will ask you if they can open a shop to keep busy with while you aren't around

You know you can't marry her without a console command fix. I don't know if the OP is even on the PC.

I like Carlotta in Whiterun, but the game won't let me marry her. The wiki says you can, but maybe it's a lie.

I don't believe it is supposed to be possible to marry Carlotta Valentia of Whiterun. Especially after you see what her personal quest is about.

Of the one's that I know work (without console help) I like Sylgja of Shor's Stone.

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Sylgja

For the OP's format:

*Race;
- Nord, Imperial or Breton [X]
Looks;
- Is she pretty and/or beautiful? [X] - It's a game you know
Voice;
- Does she have a good voice? [X] - Opinion obviously. I have no idea if you think it's good.
(Whether it be singing or just normal) - No bards can be married without console help (PC only)
*Ownership;
- Is she a home owner? [X] - But please note that all houses owned by potential spouses are aweful. Even Whiterun's small house beats them all.
Career;
- Does she have some sort of income? [X] - ALL spouses get a job and offer 100 gold per day.

well there is this hideous thesis I posted here. It lists all the eligible NPCs the game has for you to marry (without using cheats). Just scroll down to the "GETTING A SPOUSE VIA NON-CHEATING METHOD" section and check out the "If seeking Female suitors" sub section there.

Sorry I don't have any pics for you to look at. :blush: Might end up including these later. But I listed their names and where you can find them in the game. Good luck! :smile:

edit: if you're looking to get rich quick, I'd highly recommend #9 Seek Viola Giordano. She's the elderly female Imperial with a real nice crib in Windhelm.

It would be a real tragedy if she were to suddenly expire by means other than that caused by the game. :evil:

It would be an even bigger coincidence that her mansion would suddenly all be yours.... :lol:

I married Ysolda in Whiterun.

I'm playing as a Khajiit, and she's the only person I have encountered in the game that has anything remotely resembling a postitive view of my species. I think she's kind of hot (she looks like an ex-girlfriend of mine), she does open a little shop after you marry her, but it only generates like 100 gold a day.

Thought that was fixed for consoles in the new patch, but apparently not. Regardless, that the option doesn't automatically come up *is* a bug. All of the relevant dialogue for her marriage, in her voice, is already in the game.
