Do Drauger Overloards get more powerfull?

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 10:45 am

It seems like as I get stronger, so do the Draugers. I have a bow that now does 70 damage, and it seems like it takes as many arrows as it did when my bow was 40. Not to mention thyy are throwing more at me at a time now.

I was getting po'd last night as I went to the final temple looking for Alduin, and I was met with 10-15 overlords....I used up half my arrows and half my healing potions already and I haven't even made it in the temple yet....and I can't go back from here to get more without re-loading a game.

With 90+ Archery
Bow that did 83 damage
80+ Sneak
With all the perks I could in sneak and archery, I could 2 hit them.

doesn't seem like they are to me. archery and sneak are the way to go. if i can get in sneak shots they usually go down in 3 hits.

I think "top" groups of NPCs gets stronger with you. For instance.

lvl 1~5 = Draugr, Restless Draugr..
lvl 20~40 = Draugr wirth (?), Draugr Deathlord
Lvl 40~50 = Draugr Overlord (CORRET ME if I am wrong, please. Don't want to tell the wrong info)

So, you get level 50+, 60+..

The Overlord will level up with you.

Giants have no variants.. It's only "Giant" and they level up with you.

Hopez I helped.

Don't forget the Draugr Death Overlord. :P Their names keep getting longer.

I didn't fight these yet. I suspect I don't know all the draugr :P

But I hope there's no any "Restless wicked dread Draugr death-dead over-overlord" or any other. I'm starting to hate this Draugrs as they keep longer-named and stronger!

Yes they level up in tiers as you level up, but you can also come across them a little early if you enter a higher-level dungeon. Here's all the draugr and their levels:

Draugr - 1
Restless Draugr - 6
Draugr Wight - 13
Draugr Scourge - 21
Draugr Deathlord - 30
Draugr Deathlord - 40

Note that Deathlords can use frost cloak, disarm shout and unrelenting force shout, while scourge can use unrelenting force shout. These levels/names are consistent with archers, 1H and 2H warriors and warlocks.

Draugr Overlord - 7 (unrelenting force)
Draugr Wight Overlord - 15 (disarm and force)
Draugr Scourge Overlord - 24 (disarm, force and frost breath)
Draugr Death Overlord - 34 (disarm, force, frost breath and frost cloak)
Draugr Death Overlord - 45 (same as before)

Dragon Priest (fire/frost/shock) - 50

The different dragon priests have a whole slew of spells so I won't list those.

If you are a archer you need the sneak attack.

I dread running into these guys, when they whip out their bows they end up one-shotting me. My archery's at 100 but sneak isn't up to par yet, neither is my heavy armor.

I like paralyzing them just as they are about to finish their shout. :mohawk:

They're pretty strong for me, but I play on Master difficulty, AND I use this mod to tweak the difficulty up further -- http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1269
