So during my travels in Skyrim I found the a certain den that is related to the quest "In My Time Of Need". The problem is, that since i've already explored said den, the quest still has locating the den as an objective and even after completing the quest the quest marker is still on my map! (Note that I did not save because of this, and at the moment I have NOT completed the quest). Also, this quest gives you two options, either turn her in, or kill off her followers. I wanted to opt for turning her in, but I don't get that dialogue option! so there are several problems i'm dealing with

I read on a different forum that you can use the console command "setstage (Quest ID) (Stage ID) to resolve my issue. But whenever I revert the stage (currently at Stage 100 of this quest) I get a popup notification of whatever that objective was, but in my journal the objectives haven't actually changed!

Can anyone give me advice on how to fix this? I can't continue to play this save if those quest markers don't go away after completing the quest!

You can advance the quest stage but not revert it. Each completion option has a separate stage id as well.
