Question about the end of the Main Quest..

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 7:30 am

I've been a die-hard fan, supporter, and really devoted fan of Bethesda's Elder Scroll masterpieces since Daggerfall, and upon examining Alduin's Wall, I observed the Elder Scrolls main quest continuity and got shivers, practically almost shed a tear at the beauty and nostalgia of seeing a physical representation of my favorite experiences and memories of playing these wondrous games..

But the question I have here is that ; By finishing the main quest, and killing Alduin in Sovngard, therefore fulfilling the prophecy of the Dragonborn, does this usher in a new era for Tamriel, OR the latter?

Just another thought, the main-quest storyline should follow the impending invasion and occupation of Tamriel by the Thalmor, and having to prevent or let them suceed? I think so....

I kind of know the feeling, I'm on break from college at the moment, and have been wanting to check out some other games (Assassin's creed: Revelations, Dark Souls, and Uncharted 3) but it seems like a complete waste of my time, I'd rather be playing Skyrim.....

Is there anyone on here with any speculation as to what the end of the main quest means in the terms of continuity...? Besides the obvious.
