You must be at least lvl 14 in order to start it. If you are lvl 14 or above, talk to her about "not being from around here"(IIRC).

It's possible you have to be a certain level to do the quest; I got it just by speaking to her when I first met her.

Ive just did that Quest my last play if you cant get it out by asking all her options try wearing the Amulet of Mara from Riften priest (200 coin) and asking. Failing that Id say go get the sword (Mzinchaleft SW Dawnstar), reload, re-enter city, try at higher level.

well im lvl 81 so its not the lvl req... talked to her with the amulet... didnt work.... cleared mzincleft... where's grimsever at in here?

In the room where you find the Dwarven Centrurion Master

It's right where the centurion "sleeps". It's a glass sword with frost enchant.

I searched around the final room for quite a while and I can't find it...

Oh well I guess.... i'll try talking to her every time I visit Riften and if I'm lucky I'll get the quest... Thanks for the help anyway

Did you select the quest in your journal? If so then the pointer will take you right to the sword.

If you didn't get the quest from her yet then the sword will not be there. Talk to her, get the quest, select it, follow the marker.

The whole point is that I can't get the quest... she won't give it to me even though im lvl 81 lol :confused:

I think you may have disagreed with her about the thrives guild when you first spoke to her. This means unfourtunatly I don't think she will offer you the quest.

Ya I'm having the same problem as well. I want to marry but [censored] won't give me the quest.
