Do dragons still fly around after killing Alduin?

So I'm getting close to finishing the main storyline, but I like the random dragon encounters and don't want them to go away!

If I beat the main storyline, will the dragons go away? This is important! :)

no they don't go away, until you kill them 'all' which I haven't done yet so I can't tell you how many there are...

Ok, first, its hardly a spoiler. The promotional material for the game said that Alduin the World Eater was back--its obvious you have to fight him.

Second, so the dragons . . . don't go away? The dragons are not limited before killing Alduin; they are randomly generated ad nauseum. I'm not asking about the named dragons, I'm asking about the random ones (called "Dragon" or "Blood Dragon" or w/e).

I can 100% guarantee you that there is an infinite, unending amount of dragons even after defeating Alduin.

Ummmm. No. You're wrong. The dragons are completely unlimited. They are scripted random encounters and will never go awat.

I've fought close to 30 after killing Alduin... which is alot... i doubt they actually go away...
