Hi, guys. I'm starting to quest to kill the emperror...

But some said it doesn't affect anything in the civil war quests...

1 - is that true?

2 - what's the "link" about the emperror assassination and the civil war? :S

1. Yes.

2. There is no link at all. Which is a bit of an odd oversight, cause the death of the emperor should have a huge influence on an ongoing war, but that's not the case here.

ya.. weird. It could change the course of the quests.. You know.. I believe the Emperror and the Thalmor are "business-ing" and the Imperial has this Thalmor thing within..

And I want to kill the thalmor, but I also want to kill ulfric.

What the HELL Do I Do?

Not necessarily. The emperor isn't leading the armies.

general tullius is going to kill ulfric without the emperor... you can happily murder the emperor who is a figure head and unnecessary in the current machinations of the game.

follow imperial line through and you get to handle ulfric, or you're offered the opportunity to, anyway. and I believe from what I've seen it's the stormcloaks who are businessing with the thalmor... strage but true.

as to the scary boogey men and women disguised and rational business persons of high elven persuasion? is there a chain to wipe them out or should I just start killing them on sight and find out who rewards me?

lol

peace... and if not peaceful then kill them all and let their gods sort them out.

Not necessarily. The emperor isn't leading the armies.

This is very true. Titus seems much more like a Military Commander overseeing Skyrim under his martial rule. (Think General Macarthur in charge of Japan after WW2) and the Emperor as Harry Truman back home.

Both sides leads us to a new Elder Scrolls game. And in BOTH options brings us a chance to have a dictatorship-like ruler.

If you can imagine: The imperial General does want to rule skyrim killing ulfric and so on...
Ulfric is a damn racist and walking-ego with hunger for power.

Next game will be about puting down an Empire. I'm sure.

Tullius's last orders were to bring Ulfric to justice, so it's what he's going to do, no matter if Emperor Titus dies. However, I think it would be especially good if you did the Dark Brotherhood bit right before the Siege of Windhelm. The Emperor dies so Tullius decides to finally take the fight to Ulfric in his rage.

i believe if you do the imperial side of the war after killing the real emperor, Elisif is unable to become high queen as she needs the emperor's support to get it done.
