Problem with "to kill an empire" : V

my problem is that when i have killed the "emperor" and im returning to the sanctuary theres is only one of his soldiers there and the quest doesnt end, also if i go inside everybody is just acting like nothing happened, what am i doing wrong? please help

Did you exit through the top door and run along the ramparts to where Maro talks to you? After that you go back to the Sanctuary.

You needed to talk to the Redguard guy (can't remember his name...), and he tells you all to meet up at the sanctuary at Dawnstar. The Night Mother tells you to question Astrid right before you guys abandon the Falkreath Sanctuary (you get the Blade of Woe).

From Dawnstar, the Night Mother tells you to go see Motierre, and you tell him that the contract on the Emperor is still on, he gets excited and makes a puddle, then tells you where to find the real Emperor.

Simple.

He and the little girl vampire are the only two family members to survive the assault on the Sanctuary with you.

You did help him out, right?

Spoiler

After you get caught for killing the false Emperor, you make good your escape. The guy who tried to stop you tells you that at that moment, his men were busy slaughtering your whole "Family".

You race back to the Falkreath Sanctuary, it's under siege and burning. You go inside, kill all of the guards in Astrids room, meet up with Redguard in the dining area. You and he start to fight your way out, the Night Mother calls to you. Tells you to get in her coffin and sleep. She knocks you both out of the window behind her (to save you from the fire, dear Listener), and when you wake up she tells you that Astrid betrayed the Brotherhood, and that you need to go find her.

When you find her, she has you take the Blade of Woe and kill her to complete the Black Sacrament thus keeping the contract on the Emperor alive. The Redguard says that he and the girl vamp will move the Night Mother to the Dawnstar Sanctuary while you carry out the contract. You go see Motierre, who is overjoyed that you are still going to kill the Emperor, and tells you where the real Emperor is.

but its not under siege and burning when i go inside everybody is just acting normal festux kres or whatever his names is is dead and is hanging on the tree outside though

Either your game is bugged, your doing something wrong, or a wizard did it. Case closed. Best hope is to reload an older save from before you started the quest before Death Incarnate and hope it won't happen again. Just follow your quest marker. Maybe it'll show you the way.

it just shows me to the sanctuary door and im afraid i dont have any saved games from before since i have to delete to avoid lack

Try going back through the Emporers quarters, over them ramparts, and then back to the sanctuary. Maybe you missed something.
