2 thing I wish for

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 4:00 am

1.) I wish I could change races later in the game, perhaps by way of magic...

2.) I wish I could do a perk reset later in the game (one time only) because I surly don't want to start over again.

1.) I wish my PC could play this game so I could use console commands to tweak whatever I want when I want and use mods to increase and extend my enjoyment of the game.

i fixed your post for you. :)

no, not trying to start a platform war, just pointing out the 'perks' of playing on PC

Magic can't be the solution for everything, sorry. The closest thing magic could do for you, in theory, is that Illusion spells could make you look like someone else, and that's a feat only a master Illusionist could pull off, and even then, some would recognize you. As far as full-on changing race through magic, that's just out of the question. Not only would it completely undermine your initial choice during character creation, from a gameplay perspective, but, from lore perspective, it makes absolutely no sense how an Altmer could become a Nord, or either could become an Argonian. They are fundamentally different beings. It would make as much sense to be able to turn into a rabbit or a tree.

Ok, brain transplant. In fallout 3 you could change your appearance later in the game, unrelated - in fable you could change six later in the game....You can be a vampire and change to a werewolf.......lore Pff.

Magic can make you live forever, turn you into a demi god and will help you build things that are considered wonders. But one does not have the ability to change their soul and being to that of an Argonian. Not even the Aedra or the Daedra can do such a thing.

Elder Scrolls is not Fallout or Fable, and being a vampire or werewolf is not changing race, they are the effects of divine diseases.

Lot of things I'd wish for, but those aren't on the list.

Similar I would wish for:

1) I wish I could change my hair style/beard and face paint mid game whenever I want. This would actually be realistic.

Your #2 makes me laugh. Todd kept saying before Skyrim came out that one of the reasons they removed classes was because someone would pick a class, and then regret it later, so ... the solution is to remove classes. Now I see posts after posts of people wishing they could redo their perk selections. I guess 'no classes' didn't fix anything. In fact I rather hate it anymore as my warrior levels up by talking to merchants and opening locks. :(

Nah, I'm just playing. I'd get it for the PC if I could. On the plus side, Xbox DOES get all SkyrIm DLC 30 days before PC and PS3...
no worries...i figured you were joking.

and yes, each platform has it's pro's and con's. well, pc and xbox have some pro's...not sure ps3 does at this point based on the reports
