PS3 -> PC

i started out playin on the ps3, about 120h with two characters. i [censored] love skyrim! :tes:
all i gotta say is.... i'm glad i picked up skyrim for pc. i only have my work laptop atm(which is pretty decent, playing on high quality settings), tho saying that its really, really hard not to turn my comp around and load up skyrim here at work... i guess that's why i sit on these forums. i haven't touched a pc game since i removed myself from WoW(3 years ago for personal reasons). love screen shots! that's one reason imo where consoles fail(and mods).

knock on wood, i haven't came across any issues on either platforms. pc version hands down better version, expected but, way better graphics and wayyyyyyyyyyyy less loading time(also expected and, probably the one reason for switching platforms). the one and only thing so far playin on pc vs. ps3 that bothers me is lock picking. lock picking is 1000x easier with a controller than keyboard and mouse, its just more fluid with the thumb sticks.
pc version is way better then the ps3 version despite what others may think(going on opinions from these forums). i would highly suggest switching to anyone who may be thinking about it.

i love skyrim, and will be playing it for countless more hours! thank you once again bethesda :thumbsup:

I'm currently on my PS3 and loving it. I'm saving for a decent rig to.play.Skyrim on. I remember the step up with Oblivion was amazing. Mods revolutionised that game for me. I'm hoping Skyrim will do.the same.

I hate Skyrim on ps3. It has been my least favourite gaming experience yet. Too much lag, and the framerate is too low to enjoy the game. It was fun at first, but before I actually got to do anything the lag started. Even if I start a new game, it lags outside Riverwood like crazy. My game isn't scratched, my PS3 isn't broken. Bethesda just didn't put any effort into it.
But I'm getting an Xbox for X-mas to play Skyrim, because I dont wanna waste 20000€ on a PC that'll only run games on High for 2 years before I need to spend another 5,000€, just to keep up.

lol i have a 5year old dell that i invested in a 240gt video card last year. It plays this game on high with no problems, cost wise it has been about the same...i do have a xbox and replace it about every 14months,controlers every year.Plus i use my pc for more than just playing video games or watching dvd's. Tigerdirect has a pc for 300 that will play this game on high...plus is upgradable. The xbox is outdated technology and microsoft needs to catch up..dx9 really?

I find lockpicking stupidly easy with keyboard. Then again I got used to it in Fallout. Yay picking master locks with Lockpick 25 and 5 picks!
