Okay I know that my quest bug is on the known quest bug list(going to be fixed in 1.4) but is there anything to fix it in the meantime? its the quest where you have to get the 2 warring parties to meet the greybeards. But I had another quest(kill the Ice Wraith) and Had to do that before the Jarl would even talk to me now he just tells me to speak to the other npc. I dont have an earlier save to go back to. so im guessing until 1.4 comes out im stuck. will the patch even fix a char with this current bug or just for future games?

I would guess it will only fix future problems, not fix your current save game. I have no idea though. As for your current game you could try console commands to move the quest along.

yeah I have tried a bunch and ahve not figured it out yet. if anyone knows a fix for this I would upload my save game file so that someone with more knowledge could use the console cmds.

Maybe there's a console command that will dump a quest so you can re-take it?
