Problem with Graphics card

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 9:53 pm

I had a problem with the sys32 config file a couple of days ago, which caused windows to bluescreen on startup, once I got that fixed and loaded windows I discovered the graphics settings were seriously weird, everything was way too bright and over-exposed looking. I downloaded the latest driver, but that didn't fix it.

Using the 'Catalyst Control Center' I managed to adjust the settings for Windows, but whenever I open a fullscreen application, like Guild Wars and Skyrim, the settings revert to the messed up ones. Does anyone have a clue how I stop this?

I've tried looking at the Help and that is useless. I've tried changing the settings under color correction for 'Full screen 3D' but it has had no effect on the graphics in Guild Wars (haven't tested Skyrim yet as I don't know how to switch that to windowed mode to compare the difference, and seeing that look messed up might make me cry).

Ok I just tried restoring to the middle of last week, and the 13th and windows wasn't able to do that. Probsbly because the sys32/config file corrupted and I had to fix it with the windows cd.
