Can't start Azura's Quest

I went to Azura's Shrine to begin the quest, but as soon as I arrive I'm attacked by the NPC which will start the quest. I've done this quest on several other characters and haven't encountered any problems.
Anyone?

Try drawing and sheathing your weapon a few times when you get to her, see if she yields. Otherwise, pretty much all you can do is take an arrow to the knee while mourning your lost sweetroll.

You may have done something to upset her faction. Or you're a stage 4 vampire. There's lots of possibilities.

All I did like 5 minutes before that was slaughtering a few Thalmor.
And no, I'm neither a werewolf or Vampire.
Although I had the Mace of Molag Bal at the time, not drawn though.
I got the quest through rumors, yes.
