Skyrim in Boot Camp?

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 9:45 am

I have a brand new macbook pro with considerably better hardware than my current PC and I know I have the ability to Boot Camp my laptop to run Windows. I'm wondering if anyone else does this to play Skyrim or thinks this could/should improve the quality of play. Thoughts?

So you have a PC running some form of windows that's hardware is better then your other PC running windows? I think your post has already answered itself. (once you boot into the windows operating system, it really doesn't matter what else is on that hard drive, you have windows as windows can get running on whatever hardware that macbook is sporting, that's all there is too it).

I have a macbook with OSX Lion and a PC with windows vista.

Macbook has better hardware than the PC, and I have the functionality to boot camp (run windows and mac at the same time on the macbook by partitioning the hard drive) and I'm wondering if anyone else plays like this and if there are any drawbacks to doing this.

Lots of Macbook people do this.

Drawback is that you have to make the partition that some users may or may not want to make.
That is really about it.

I've got a mid 2010 MBP 15'. I Bootcamped Windows 7 just to play Skyrim lol. It runs exactly like a PC when you run bootcamp. If you got a recent MBP then it should run Skyrim on high settings, im on med.
