My game crashes after I see the Skyrim logo and I never get to see the options in the menu. I have tried adjusting the sound quality and it has not helped. I did not install any new mods or do anything to the game it just suddenly broke. How can I fix this?

What changes have you made to your PC since you last played? Any new programs? New Drivers? Windows Updates? Steam Updates? Done any antivirus scans to see if any junk showed up on your machine?

I installed update KB2632503 and about 3 other security updates for windows. I am also running Windows 7. Performing a virus scan atm will return with the results.

BUMP

I removed the update, finished the AV (no threats), and reinstalled Skryim. No luck. Help?
I also removed the most recent mods I installed. Pretty BS that I buy a game and it breaks for NO REASON.
