I have the witches head but the old dude is dead. I've done a ton of side jobs for companions but nobody will offer me the cure

Spoiler
There's a quest that let's you save the old guy, use the same method that saves him to save yourself. Also, make sure you have an extra witch head.

Do Aela's quests against the Silver Bloods. Anything else is spoiling, and my answer serves the purpose, so.

granted the form is pretty pointless once your past like lvl 10. but why would you want to cure this. The transformation is badass

This is one of the few bugs I've run into, I did the quest but it won't let me cure myself.

i think you have to ask around for the cure in the guild then you'll eventually get a quest to go to a tomb then after that you have to cure 2 companions and then you can cur re yourself thats how i did it

Did the patch fix this annoying bug? Not having bonuses as a werewolf stinks.

Huh? The final story quest for the Companions involves finding a way to save Kodlak's soul from Hircine and also provide the means for yourself (as long as you have a hagraven head for yourself too).

If you haven't gotten to that, then you're not done with the Companion story quests.

Just to warn you though... the guard barks for being a werewolf still persist. Bug! :brokencomputer:

The bug exists past the end of the Companions line. If you do not CURE yourself at the same time as the quest line ending, you are FUBAR. You cannot go back with a head later.
