Clearing Quest Log

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 8:49 am

Is there a way to remove quests from your log? I have a disease I contracted from many years of WoW playing that makes me finishing all the quests in my log. I am well over 100hrs on my first character and I am starting to realize this game is much much less about completing quests.

Finish all the quests in your log. While doing so, don't pick up any others.

Generally by finishing them. Yeah they might want to add the ability to abandon quests - particularly because of how the misc favor quests work.

Be sure you actually do finish those misc quests though, otherwise new people you meet will stop offering similar favor quests to you. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but those favor quests are how you unlock most potential followers, boost the economy of a hold (areas you do a lot of quests in, shopkeepers will have more money), and get people to want to marry you (probably the least significant effect.)

I guess that would work, but I was more looking for a way to abandon them. Thanks!

When I first started my log was filling up fast! I mean, it still is pretty full - misc and main missions all jumbled together with the main quests-line. I honestly can't tell them apart and am completely confused about which missions are for the main story and which are just side missions - nevertheless - I thought a function to abandon a mission would be great but then I realized, why? I accepted those missions - well, at least 95% of them I knowingly accepted. If I wanted to, I could have backed out of pretty much any dialogue that started with 'well, somethings happened...' or 'i really wish someone would help me...' etc.

Now my missions is take care of the backlog of missions I have here - especially under misc, so I can clear things out and get things back on track. In the meantime, I'm going to avoid talking to people and accepting new missions while I do this.
