1.4, Steamworks, and SKSE?

So, with 1.4 you get access to steamworks to get mods loaded in and such.. but what about other launchers like SKSE, and Nexus mod manager? How will they work with steamworks?

No steamworks yet (support for it is in this patch, so we are told).

If the version of this patch is the same as the last BETA release (as is being reported...not confimred), then SKSE already has a released version that SHOULD work (mine worked with the 1.4.21.? BETA). I have no idea how authors of SKSE will handle the BETA version being same as release version (if true).

Yeah, I see a new version is up, I was just wondering because steamworks works through the default loader, that's what it looked like in the video anyway. I was just wondering how it'd work through other loaders.

The way i see it....IF you get your mods thru steamworks then you would need the launcher (bethesda's) .

But since I am always going to be using SKSE_launcher. With Bash/Bain & BOSS, I will be doing things from Skyrim Nexus and other sites. Only If i find out a mod everyone is saying you have to have, ( and then I think I might want) but is ONLY available thru steamworks, would I bother trying it.

The system of using Bash, with BAIN for the installs, and BOSS for the tags and load order, is a concrete way of having Skyrim load 250 mods. I have used all these for years with Oblivion. It works and I am not about to break it!

Maybe I'm confused, but I don't see why this would necessarily have to be the case.
