Really? No one has commented on whether or not this actually fixes fps for xFire users? I'm stuck at work so I can't test it.

Post was locked temporarily I believe. I don't have a multi-gpu rig currently, but supposedly this is the fix for crossfire. Also for The Witcher 2.

People who uses Crossfire are people who like to get ripped off. U buy 2 cards while u only get 30% increase. + most of the time u got problems with games using 2 cards so yeah kinda useless ati update.

Or, people who use Crossfire decided to purchase their second card based on cost effectiveness vs. performance given the market at the time. At the time I got my second 4850, I could either spend ~$110 for another 4850 OR ~$200 for a new card that would give the same performance. Instead of just blasting blanket statements toward people with no argument to back them up, just close your browser instead.

Dude just go for a new card if your card aint getting u where u want to because u get a lot of isseus with sli/crossfire. Its just not worth the hassle. Not even all games support it so yeah. Why dont u close your browser and buy a decent card :S. Getting all offensive just because i said something about your dual gpu setup LOL!

I use only one card but someone said it gave him more fps even on a single card system. Tested it and the game runs even slower than before. Gonna use my old driver.

People over at the Steam forums are seeing a 10-30 FPS increase with this driver on their cf systems.

I'm not getting defensive about you talking about my dual GPU setup, I'm reacting to your blatant jab at a group of users because they went a different hardware setup than yours. As I said, the reason I'm running a dual set up is because I didn't want to get ripped off. Before Brink, every other game I have played has worked perfectly well with my CF setup. So your statement about "getting a lot of isseus [sic] with SLI/CF" is again, a blanket statement with no evidence. You're just parroting what you have seen other people write about in forums, or heard say, and trying to act like you know something when there is no clear evidence that you do.

Furthermore, your statement regarding "only people who like to get ripped off get CF" had no relevant value to the thread. In fact, it has lead to at least four separate posts that also have no relevant value to this thread. So why would you even reply in the first place? Is it summer vacation already?

I see. So i never had a sli setup? Just because u did not have any problems doesnt mean there arent. Im basing my statements on multiple systems while apparently you are just looking at your own system. But yeah great response man. But i aint going to waste more time on this since apparently i hurt your feelings with my statements of FACTS. The only thing which aint a fact is the 30% increase but whatever :)
