I know its about how you play but I'm just thinking how should I set my magic, health and stamina on my assassin/thief character? (don't want to get owned on higher difficulty's...

I haven't leveled up yet, but I am currently using light armor, duel weaponry( steel axes atm), bow w/ iron arrows.

Im also wondering if it would be worth investing in the smiting skill, seeing as you you receive various armors from the thieves guild and dark brotherhood.

Are daggers better then swords for dueling? should I stick with 2 axes or maybe go 1 axe and 1 sword?

I plan on investing skill points in - one handed/duel, archery, light armor, lockpick, speech, sneak and maybe some in alteration. (wont be maxing the tree's)

may use enchanting instead of alteration tho not sure...

Any idea's would be appreciated and even some of your own current/previous builds would be some good input.

Daggers have some amazing perks in the stealth tree for killing people.

illusion-> Invisibility and the calm spells.
makes it easy to get up close to the target.
