Well now this is a bit of a drama. All was going fine until yesterday afternoon, I went to play after updating SKSE to the latest version after steam finished it's little update and nothing happened. Thinking it odd I tried to launch the game through steam without SKSE. Went into a perpetual loop of "launching" and launcher. Well now I wasn't going to have that so i unistalled (backed up saves and everything else first of course). Rebooted and tried again. Same deal on a clean install, yes I deleted everything from everywhere, registry included. only thing I haven't done is reinstall steam.
Ok I know my system can handle playing it so I won't bore you with specs. yes I'm running it as Amdin, same as I was doing previously and also I was running SKSE as Admin too (Although I've not reinstalled it yet, no point if the game won't run!)
Advice please

Have you veriefied the cache integrity via Steam?

Did you delete the 2 ini files in Documents/My Games/Skyrim?

This exact thing is now happening to me. I try to start the game and it just dies immediately.

I managed to start the game from TESV.EXE but I must not use script dragon (out of date) and I must not use skse_launcher.exe. So there is a problem with SKSE.

Data verified in steam, ini files deleted. As I said it's a clean install, no mods. not even NMM installed. Don't use script dragon either, too few mods use it anyway. Attempt to launch via TESV.exe has the same result, launcher opens, click play and nothingness...
Ok update: I set the launcher to run as Admin and now it starts :S How bizzare
