Constant curse bug

Anyone know how to cancel this curse effect bug?

My video:

Some other poor guys curse:

As you can see the other guy is a lot worse off than me. However, I'd assume he noticed his curse a lot earlier than me and reload a previous save, because mine was fairly easy to miss until I'd already saved well after the bug occured.

Basically, mine happened after the Thief Guild quest that involved taking an arrow to the...getting hit by an poisoned arrow that knocks you over as part of a scripted event. For whatever reason the effect that was used here managed to become permanent and I can't figure a way to disable it other than to find a console command.

The effect doesn't show up under active spells nor can it be cured. It disappears only when changing in to Lycan form but changing back and going in to first person or reloading the game causes the effect to reappear.

Of note is that I was holding a torch during this event and now I cannot permantely hotkey any torches for some reason. I can set a torch to hotkey 7, equip it using that key, but after unequipping, the torch will get unbound again. Very weird indeed!

Any ideas are welcome!

Its just an annoying graphical bug. Stats are fine but for some reason this effect is permantely attached to the player since a scripted event took place.

Still not fixed in the latest beta 1.4 patch, which is a shame. Feel sorry for other people with more obstructive effects stuck on them still.

Link to a partial fix that removes the glowing eyes. It still, however, leaves the blue upspiral dust effect that is the main problem with this bug.
