Things I'd like to see modded

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 3:47 am

A couple things have always kind of bugged me about TES--food & sleep. Food doesn't heal your injuries in reality, it keeps you from starving. Why not a system where you have to eat so much every day or you will start to accrue penalties (accompanied by a message informing you that your character is hungry) and if you never did eat you would eventually starve to death? Same thing with sleep, go without that for long enough and penalties add up until you simply can't function. Maybe something for a mod, what do you guys think?

The way things are in the game as is I just get the feeling it really wouldn't make much difference if I never slept OR ate.

Shouldn't this have been posted in the mods section?

IMO it would be too tedious to add that into the game. I guess you could have realistic mode where you could have this but I think after playing for 200 hours it would piss people off.
It would be like when weapons degraded and you had to carry about 100 hammers and if you did not then your weapons would break after getting through a small dungeon.

Yes I realize the average gamer has no patience; that's why I suggested it as a mod. Don't want it? Don't use that mod. Isn't freedom of choice a wonderful thing?

Rest assured, Realistic Needs (that's what the food/sleep/drink mods are usually called) mods will be a plenty.
